The current eSense SDK Suite v5.0<\/strong> includes native SDKs for Android, iOS\/macOS and Windows \u2013 now with native Bluetooth for Pulse, Muscle (EMG) and EEGenius (EEG) on all three platforms \u2013 as well as plugins for Unity, Unreal Engine, Flutter and Capacitor. All examples, a fully functional demo app in source code and the API documentation are included. Commercial and non-commercial use is unlimited and royalty-free.<\/p>\n\n

      Every native platform (Android, iOS\/macOS, Windows) reaches all six sensors natively via its respective platform SDK. For Unity and VR projects the Unity C# plugin is additionally available for Muscle & EEGenius; Flutter, Capacitor and Unity Audio cover the audio sensors on iOS + Android.<\/p>\n\n

      Biofeedback in virtual reality<\/h2>\n

      Modern VR headsets are standalone Android devices \u2013 the eSense plugins run directly on the headset. Hardware-tested on the Meta Quest 3S; Meta Quest 2 \/ 3 are supported. Pico 4 Ultra and Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise are in preparation. This lets you feed physiological signals into immersive applications in real time.<\/p>\n\n

      Special SDK for Unity (EMG & EEG)<\/h2>\n

      For eSense Muscle (EMG) and eSense EEGenius (EEG) we offer a C# plugin for Unity. The same plugin runs on mobile, VR and desktop and is particularly suited to VR\/AR biofeedback, interactive training scenarios, serious games and research projects.<\/p>\n\n

      In development: wireless audio sensors (from Q1 2027)<\/h2>\n

      We are developing a Bluetooth variant of the previously audio-based eSense sensors (Skin Response, Temperature; Respiration possibly later). This removes the need for the audio adapter and makes the sensors even easier to integrate into mobile and VR applications.<\/p>\n\n

      Note:<\/em> A developer license is required to access the SDK and its documentation. Support and lifetime updates of the purchased platform version are included in the license. The eSense sensors themselves are not included in the SDK and are ordered separately.<\/p>\n\n
