The MindMaster series by Mindfield comprises professional EEG amplifiers and biofeedback systems for clinics, practices and research. The modular concept lets you start with the equipment you need and expand later via software module or sensor – without a new base device.

Note on the model naming: The number in the model name (e.g. Neuro 9, BioNeuro 11) is a model designation. A higher number indicates a larger feature set; it does not correspond to the number of EEG channels.

MindMaster Neuro – EEG Neurofeedback

Three configurations are available for pure neurofeedback training:

MindMaster Neuro 4 – established 2-channel EEG device on a standalone platform (not upgradeable), for a straightforward start.
MindMaster Neuro 9 – records up to 6 EEG channels, based on the modular BioMaster platform.
MindMaster Neuro 11 – up to 6 EEG channels plus SCP training (Slow Cortical Potentials).

MindMaster Bio – Peripheral Biofeedback

The Bio series measures peripheral biosignals such as muscle tension (EMG), skin conductance (EDA), temperature, respiration and pulse:

MindMaster Bio 6 – 2-channel EMG, skin conductance (EDA) and temperature.
MindMaster Bio 7 – adds pulse and respiration (HRV-capable).
MindMaster Bio 8 – full configuration with 3-channel EMG plus pulse and respiration with two breathing belts.

MindMaster BioNeuro – The Combination

If you want to combine neurofeedback and biofeedback in a single device, choose the BioNeuro series:

MindMaster BioNeuro 6 – 2-channel EEG combined with peripheral biofeedback (EMG, EDA, temperature).
MindMaster BioNeuro 9 – up to 6 EEG channels plus full peripheral biofeedback incl. pulse/HRV and respiration.
MindMaster BioNeuro 11 – up to 6 EEG channels, plus SCP training and all software modules.

Who is MindMaster for?

The MindMaster systems are aimed at therapists, physicians, psychologists and researchers who want to offer professional neurofeedback or biofeedback in their practice. Typical application areas are attention and concentration training, stress management, relaxation training and peak-performance training. Thanks to the modular concept, the system grows with the requirements of the practice.

Besides the included BioEra software, the MindMaster amplifiers support common neurofeedback methods such as frequency-band training, alpha/theta training, coherence and incoherence training and mini-QEEG. SCP training is available on the SCP-capable models (Neuro 11, BioNeuro 11). Our technical support advises individually on configuration or protocol selection.

What is the MindMaster system?

The MindMaster Neuro 9/11 (up to 6 EEG channels; Neuro 11 with SCP) suit comprehensive neurofeedback, while the MindMaster BioNeuro models combine EEG neurofeedback with peripheral biofeedback (EMG, EDA, temperature and more).

What else do I need besides the MindMaster?

To operate the device you need a computer and the matching software. Depending on the application we recommend electrodes, EEG caps and cables. Our Mindfield Mini PC ships pre-configured with all required programs.

Recommended Training for MindMaster Users

The Academy for Neurofeedback (AfN) uses MindMaster devices in its certified training programmes. The modular neurofeedback trainer/therapist training (NFB 1–4) and the biofeedback trainer/therapist training (BFB 1–2) teach the professional use of MindMaster systems in small groups of max. 5 participants.
